It's great to see that Colby Cycling is alive and well. Even better to see that you've been at the races and some folks have qualified for Nationals. Congrats!
I'm class of '92 and was one of the folks that resurrected Colby Cycling from the dead and made it a racing team again. It was a rewarding club to be involved with. So much so that I gave up lacrosse (for which I was recruited to Colby in the first place) and rode full time Soph-Sen years.
If you guys are still using the repair room in Hillside (does Hillside still exist?) that was part of our effort too.
I have two questions for you guys:
1. Can I can get in on your clothing order for next year? It would be great to have a Colby kit again.
2. Will you help me keep an eye on the huge image of the Colby rider on display in the fieldhouse? I'm a little partial to it because it's me . I would love to see it hanging in my house when Colby is done with it.
Thanks for the help and let me know about the clothing.

although i am in no way in charge of anything:
1. talk to pat, but i dont see why not
2.ill look for it next time i go to the gym, and thats cool
and also yes hillside exists (i in fact lived there last year) and no, we dont have a repair room there, although that would be sweet, we should get on that. (although we could also use the sketchy bike room here in woodman basement) |

| Too bad about the bike room. The school installed a work bench and a park repair stand bolted to the bench and we threw in a couch (I think) and posters. It was pretty cool. It was there when I went back in '95 or so. |

That's cool. Although it would be better if they took it down and sent it to me |

sorry but i don't remember exactly where. in fact, when I was there it was always a little challenging to find the room. That place is a maze. I'm pretty sure it was on one of the floors close to a front door and nearby the large storage room where people would store large bulky items (furniture) over the summer.
It may have even been a door-less room that we had them put a door on. I recall something about a pay phone needing to be relocated as well. |
