For those of you unaware of amazing events that have occured in the last week.. here is an update: Rose qualified for Nationals by taking second place in Women's A's at Easterns on Saturday. Granted she got there by driving from Colby home to Vermont.. picking up an old 88' Saab and driving herself at 4 am to some place an hour from Amherst. Yesterday, the school got her a plane ticket, today she is flying. Josh and Delia drove her down to Boston last night for her 6 am flight. At 9 am this beautiful Thursday morning, Rose called and said that she is on the flight headed to Albaquerque, NM. Nationals is at Angel Fire, NM and she races on Saturday. I suggest that anyone who hears from Rose post on this page so that we can all stay tuned to the coming events!
